Jay Tamkin is 22 years old, a talented Blues/Rock guitarist, singer, writing his own material, from Torquay in Devon who has already two American tours under his belt. The Jay Tamkin Band with Jay on guitar/vocals, Nick Ramos Pintos-drums & Pete Searle on Bass, have opened for the likes of Chris Farlowe, Popa Chubby, Pat Travers, Buddy Whittington, Ian Parker, Nine Below Zero, Man, The Blockheads, American "vibes" player Roy Ayers, Danny Bryant, Stan Webbs Chicken Shack, Spooky Tooth & more! He has even played for the Queen on her golden jubilee at Exeter Cathedral! Jay's new album Sorted features a mixture of Blues and Rock with some Jazz influences, was recorded in Germany and produced by Kris Gray who recently produced the new Chris Farlowe and Miller Anderson albums.
